Great week in Massanutten. We took a more northern route (Rt 50 to Rt 97 to Rt 100 to Rt 70) and it was great! While it looked a little longer, it actually took less time. And as a bonus we went close enough to my sister Tammy’s house that we stopped for a lunch and visit.
We tried a new place to eat in Elkton. Old 33 Bar and Burger. We will not be going back. We got a couple of spagehtti dinners from Romanos and took them to our unit. Made 2 meals for us and they were excellent!
We went to Joshua Wiltons for our anniversary dinner. It was awesome as always. We both had salmon and creme brulee.
The fall colors we awesome! We were a little late to get one of our favorite units, but we made out fine. I have never seen it so busy at checkin. And supposedly we do not get to pick units anymore as we own at the Summit.
It was a great vacation. We left about 430 and the traffic was light all of the way home. We will be taking this route from now on!
