We went to the Poconos in 2012, but Hurricane Sandy caused a quick departure after 1 night. So we decided to give it another try.
The drive was brutal. This alone will cause us to visit Massanutten if we want to be in the mountains!
We did see some great sights!
We went to Bushkill Falls which were incredible! I was a great setup with access to many vantage points!
We also took a train ride on the Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway in Jim Thorpe. It was a great experience!
Best Restaurants were Smugglers Cove, Alaska Pete’s, and the Sycamore Grill. It was hard to find good restaurants. But it was not a problem since we will not be returning to the area.
I always say that I have never been on a bad vacation. This vacation had some great attractions, which made it enjoyable.
And as always Margo was a good sport and posed in the Big Chair!
